As noted in a previous post, mobile banking is picking up steam. Today, I read that Fifth Third Bank has launched a mobile site to enable customers to check account balances and pending-and-posted transactions. Users can also transfer funds and find Fifth Third ATMs and branch locations. The bank is also offering SMS alerts, targeting a younger generation, that provide insight into balances and statements.
