Survey: Consumers prefer mobile advertisements

The Global E-mail Attitudes survey of 13,000 consumers in 13 countries found that most people are receptive to marketing e-mails sent to their cell phones.

In fact, 58 percent made a purchase after reading one of these not-so-junk e-mails. And one in seven U.S. consumers purchased after reading a promotional text message.
